Simple Stories...A simple challenge

One of my favorite new paper companies is Simple Stories. One of their latest collections really caught my eye and I bought more of the different elements of the line than I usually do :) I think what won me over with Summer Fresh was the mix of denim, burlap, and it still has some very pretty florals! It doesn't get any better!
This paper bag mini album is set up as I have been making them for years, but the size is very different. It is a whopping 8x8 inches! It was a challenge for me filling up each page. My usual page canvas is a mere 5-6 inches, but I really liked being able to decorate the page and still have lots of yummy background paper showing :)
I had so many ideas for a cover on this one...I must have stacked it up and cleared it back off ten times!
I decided to use this floral pattern, I like giving you an idea of the colors included in the album right on the front. Then you get to load up the binder rings with a nice variety pretty ribbons too :)

Now that I got Summer Fresh out of my system for a week or so, I can go back and finish my Fabulous album :)

New This & That album :)

So here the the first girly album from Echo Parks new This & That Graceful collection! It's a paper bag album, all done up in my customary fashion :)

I used the stickers once again to spell out "MOMENTS" on the little banner stickers included in the kit.
I love the turqoise and bright red and pink combinations of colors!

The line is actually bursting with beautiful colors. I have another album, a chipboard one this time, in the works....so keep an eye out!
You can check it out on ebay HERE! Thanks for looking :)

This & That!

Hello there :)
Just thought I would pop in and share a little of the fun I've been having with two of the new Echo Park Paper's This & That collections!
This first one is for the boys, it's from the Charming collection. I used the stickers included in the kit to title it, Amzing BOY :) I cut the star on my cricut and peirced the holes to hand sew around it with natural twine.
At 5x7 inches, it's a tad bit bigger than my usual ones are, and has also got to be one of the thinist ones too! Flowers really bulk an album up, but without to many of them, it's easy to keep your pages nice and simple :)

It's up for auction right now on ebay- you can place your bid, or just take a look, right HERE :)

New Albums and a Giveaway on Facebook!

This week on ebay I have two paper bag albums listed!
The first is made with October Afternoon's Farmhouse line. It took me forever to get the title to sit within that woodgrain circle that came in the Flower Sack die cut pack that coordinates with the line :) I painted the Maya Road chipboard letters with acrylic paint, and then sanded them here and there...I just love that worn look.

The next album is made with Basic Grey's new line called Kissing Booth. I used Cosmo Crciket Tiny Type stickers to create the title and used alcohal inks on half of a Clear Scraps acrylic frame the help finish it off. Click on the picture to see it close up :)

You can check them out on ebay HERE!

I also want to tell you about the giveaway I have on my Facebook Page! If you stop by and share my Giveaway post, you will entered to win a handmade card and handmade flowers by Me!
